Join us Saturday, Dec. 13th from 1-3pm to help us clean up the pot-bellied pigs' area! The straw is starting to pile up in their yards as we give them lots of extra to keep help to keep them cozy. We will be raking and scooping up all the old straw, along with any manure of course.
Volunteer Workdays are a great way to help out even if you are not able to commit to coming on a regular basis and are an opportunity to work alongside other volunteers.
-Must be physically able to lift, rake, scoop, bend
-must be 18 years old or if between the ages of 14-17, must be accompanied by an adult
-Dress for the weather and plan to get dirty, and wear sturdy, preferably waterproof, footwear
-If you bring your own snacks please be sure they do not contain any animal products (including, eggs, dairy, honey)
